Who is Web 2.0?

One of the interesting things about beta is invite collection. We’ve been taking email addresses for a few weeks now, and we’ve noticed some trends. As a matter of oversimplification, we present a breakdown of just where our invite requests are coming from.
Gmail is the clear winner, with Yahoo Mail and MSN following, but not nearly as closely as one might expect. Our n is pretty large, but not as large as we’d like

Very interesting to see the breakdown of the types of people who use the claimID service (and who are also the early adopters). Could we correllate this into a larger, more generalized statement that most people who are of the “web 2.0″ generation use gmail, and almost assuredly google itself? Is google that one defining similarity that all of us share? Does google define an era?
Or has google somehow taken over our lives and is slowly starting to enslave our minds by taking over every facet of our lives and one day will dominate the entire human race??????
